## Getting help

When reporting a problem, include your Orbit version, macOS version, whether your Mac uses Apple silicon or Intel, and the steps that led to the issue. Describe what you expected and what happened. A screenshot or a short example can help explain a problem, but remove personal or confidential information first.

Do not send passwords, licence keys, provider tokens, recovery codes, or secret values. You do not need to send your entire workspace or source code to make an initial support request. If the issue involves a connection, name the provider or AI client and include the error message without credentials.

## Useful resources

The [Orbit guide](/guide/) covers installation and everyday workflows. See [troubleshooting](/guide/help/troubleshooting/) for common problems, [licence activation](/guide/settings/license/) for Free and Pro, or the [developer resources](/developers/) for local MCP connections.

For questions about information you have shared with support, or requests concerning your personal data, email the address above and describe the request. Read [Orbit privacy](/privacy/) for the website's analytics and the app's local storage boundaries.
